Depicting Nature in Two Ways

Two of my painting styles work in tandem to explore the beauty of nature.

Baroque paintings depict the details found within nature. Their intricate, three-dimensional designs show leaves, flowers, and more. The encaustic medium gives the paintings depth and detail.

Metalscape paintings represent the expansiveness of nature. With large swaths of color, reflective surfaces, and minimal brushstrokes, the paintings represent the sheer scale and completeness of nature.
