This year, the International Encaustic Conference will take place in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The annual event brings together artists, gallery owners, and collectors in commemoration of encaustic artwork.

I am grateful to be able to share my expertise incorporating metals with wax as a Conference Presenter and Post-Conference Teacher. My workshop, “Mainly Metals,” focuses on a variety of techniques and materials for integrating metal leaf and metal with encaustic painting.

The Conference Demonstration (conference attendees only)  will take place on June 2, and the Post-Conference Workshop (open enrollment) will be held on June 6 from 10am to 4pm.

In addition, my new painting Nocturne will be on display at Adam Peck Gallery in an exhibit entitled  The Blues.  Opening Reception is Friday, June 1, 5-9pm.
